MCLE: A Primer on Trusts

Starting with a general overview of trusts and fundamental concepts and issues, this presentation will gradually advance to topics like sophisticated gift and estate tax planning and special needs planning. The discussion will also cover various types of trusts, including living trusts, life insurance trusts, foreign trusts and dynasty trusts.

  • Practical drafting and structuring pointers
  • Sophisticated uses of trusts

Jacob Stein (J.D.; LL.M.) is a Certified Tax Law Specialist. In addition, his manuals on Advanced Tax Planning and Asset Protection Planning have been used by the California CPA Education Foundation for over 10 years.
