Unable to make the trip to the Library? We’ve got you covered. Any item from our extensive print collection or electronic resources can be emailed to you for a modest fee.
We can send sections from practice guides or self-help books, forms and templates, Shepard’s or Keycite reports, judicial profiles, annotated statutes, historical versions of code, current and old editions of treatises, and any other item from the second-largest public law library collection in the U.S.
E-Delivery Fees:
- Standard (Next Day) - $20.00 per citation base fee*
- Rush (Within 4 Business Hours) - $28.00 per citation base fee*
“Citation” means the formal legal citation to your item, or enough information to quickly identify a specific item in the collection (e.g., “Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (1966)” or “Rutter Civil Procedure Before Trial, ch. 6B Complaints”). If you do not have a citation for the item you need, please feel free to contact our Reference desk for assistance.
*Base fee includes up to 25 pages scanned from hard copy (print or microfiche). Electronic database material is provided subject to publisher download and email limits; page limit does not apply. Hard copy citations in excess of 25 pages are charged at copy fees of $.20/page for print, $.50/page for microfiche.
California appellate court briefs available electronically through LA Law Library’s briefs collection can be provided at no cost via our briefs request form. All other briefs are subject to e-Delivery fees.
