In the event you suffer from disability, housing or food insecurity, or employment challenges, you may be eligible for public benefits that could assist you. In this class, you will learn about the various benefits available to low-income individuals from the State of California.

Habitability Issues in HUD Housing

This class will provide basic information and resources about how the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) handles complaints of habitability issues in HUD housing. “Habitability” is a legal term that means that housing is fit to live in. The instructor will explain HUD rules and regulations on habitability in HUD housing, and will share general resources for the public on habitability issues in HUD housing.
