ON DEMAND: Housing Habitability: Know Your Rights

This class will provide basic information and resources about habitability standards in Los Angeles. The instructor will explain the different between Housing Code violations such as leaks, inoperable windows, illegal construction and Health Code violations such as rodent problems, no water at the property and mold. You will learn what to do if your landlord is not addressing needed repairs, how to prepare for inspections and how to use habitability protections to advocate for safe housing.
