ON DEMAND: MCLE: Drafting a Prenuptial Agreement
Class recorded January 18, 2023
Here in L.A., the idea of signing a prenuptial agreement may seem commonplace, but the actual process of drafting the document can be rather challenging – and the details can be of utmost importance to your client. In this class, attorneys will explore the ins-and-outs of drafting the agreement, negotiating with the recipient-spouse’s attorney, and how to execute the document.
Class covers:
- Whether a prenuptial agreement is right for your client;
- What property and assets should be included;
- When disclosures must be made; and
- How to work with a spouse’s counsel once they receive the agreement.
