Car-related property damage has never been a simple legal issue. With the advent of COVID-19 and new rules regulating property damage, making an insurance claim has become even more complex. In this class, an experienced litigator will share information on how to make a claim, including how to navigate the new rules regulating the process.
Class covers:
- The nuts and bolts of the new property damage ‘claim game’
- How to make a claim and with whom
- Avoiding new property damage insurance pitfalls
- Properly and fully repairing your car
- Avoiding rental car traps
- Determining vehicle valuation in total loss scenarios
- Discovering if a car has diminished value and whether this impacts your claim
Although you can listen to the class from various kinds of devices, you will need video to view the speaker(s) and any presentation materials and the ability to type on your device and use Zoom to ask questions or use the chat features.
