ON DEMAND: COVID-19 Stimulus Payments and Tax Credits
Class recorded October 1, 2021
This workshop discusses how qualifying individuals can take advantage of the expanded federal- and California-based tax credits enacted or expanded in response to COVID-19 – even if they did not file a tax return. Tax credits covered will include the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), California EITC, Child Tax Credit, and the Young Child Tax Credit, and attendees will learn who is eligible and what is needed to receive these credits. The class will also provide an overview and re-cap of the stimulus payments offered through the CARES ACT and American Rescue Plan.
