Attorneys and Paralegals: Complete Your Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirements at LA Law Library with our practical and timely, live and pre-recorded classes.

The State Bar of California requires attorneys to complete a total of 25 hours of approved education credit every three years. This includes:
- At least 4.0 credit hours on Legal Ethics;
- At least 2.0 credit hours on Elimination of Bias, with at least 1.0 credit hour of that focused on Implicit Bias/Bias-Reducing Strategies;
- At least 1.0 credit hour on Competence-Prevention & Detection;
- At least 1.0 credit hour on Competence-Wellness;
- At least 1.0 credit hour on Technology;
- At least 1.0 credit hour on Civility.
LA Law Library is a California-approved MCLE provider and offers live MCLE classes, an extensive collection of CDs and DVDs that can be checked out for self-study, and an Annual Cram Day program at the beginning of each year to help you catch up on those last minute requirements.
- Attend one of our lunch hour speaker series programs. Sessions are recorded and available to view for participatory credit at a later date if you cannot attend the live event.
- Check out a CD or DVD to study on your own time.
- Near the deadline for your compliance group? Attend our annual Cram Day classes, held at the beginning of each year to complete your hours and earn the required sub-topic
