Here in L.A., the idea of signing a prenuptial agreement may seem commonplace, but the actual process of drafting the document can be rather challenging – and the details can be of utmost importance to your client. In this class, attorneys will explore the ins-and-outs of drafting the agreement, negotiating with the recipient-spouse’s attorney, and how to execute the document.

Class covers:

• Whether a prenuptial agreement is right for your client;
• What property and assets should be included;
• When disclosures must be made; and
• How to work with a spouse’s counsel once they receive the agreement.

Among other benefits, a revocable trust can avoid probate:  a complicated process that can cost your client’s family and heirs a lot of time and money.
